Should i get a Lisa III?

Only thing that's of concern to me re: using LISA III standard (XP seems too bulky) is the 8 hr run time. Otherwise, I'd be all over that.

To the OP. Don't listen to some of the posts here. If you think you don't have time for a stationary home setup, just get it. No point getting a portable since you're going to power some beastly headphones to begin with. Most of us consider the Lisa III to be a transportable. You'd want the best for your headphones and the Lisa III is up there. And of course, since you don't mind lugging around headphones, I doubt you'll mind lugging around the Lisa III.

The LLP is the PSU and charger for the Lisa III. There should not be any differences in sound between the standard and the XP nor do I think there is any since I've heard both. The XP was merely designed to be a standard with longer lasting batteries, hence the larger case and the name XP which is short for "eXtended play".

The Lisa drives all the phones very well. The bass is solid and controlled and you will notice the headroom that gives the impression of plenty of power in reserve for whatever music you listen to.
