Hi,
I'm currently with RP-21's...running through AlienDAC/SOHA combo...
The RP21's are starting to show some wear after nearly 2 years (cracked headband) so I'm considering new choices.
So..should I change to any of the following?
Grado SR60
Grado SR80 /SR60i
Alessandro MS1 /MS1 improved '09 version
How would they compare to the RP21's...I know they're open cans, so no more full volume in the office, but I'm wondering how they would fit to my music taste (mostly 80's metal and some more recent power/progressive metal and small amounts of rock).
Any other suggestions in the same price range are also welcome (up to 100 bucks or a bit over)
