Heya All,

Been lurking for a while now. And currently I need a little help deciding whether to pull the trigger on a pair of DT990 600 ohms for 150$ CAD. The catch is the seller has had them for "a few years" but says that he only used them for about 2 to 3 months.

I'm a little nervous about buying three year old headphones as the last pair of M-Audio Q40's literally broke down after 3 years (jack failing, headband broken)

I'm also considering ordering a pair of FA-011 for 216$ CAD from the Fischer Audio website and I'm wondering if it's I shouldn't just invest more to buy new and have some kind of warranty, but I also love to score a deal (the dt990) so I'm a bit stuck.

Any advice would be most appreciated.
