Should 2 of the same older stereo amps sound the same?

First of all this isn't a headphone amp question so I hope it's in the right forum.

I am currently using an older (1985) 2155 NAD stereo amp that I really like, however, I was looking for more power and I was thinking of looking for a second one so that I could run them in mono each to its own speaker. If I can find another one in good condition should the sound signatures of each be the same? They were only made for a couple of years, and NAD seems pretty solid in its enginering so would two be a good idea, or does each amp have a distinct signature?

Thanks.

I would assume if all the parts are the same and in working condition that they would sound the same.
