I want to put my iPhone in the backpack and use it with my IE8 using an inline remote and mic.
I thought there was a shorter cable available for IE8 ?
also what inline remote/mic would you recommend for the iPhone ?
my IE8 cable length is PERFECT now when my iPhone is in my shorts pocket. but that's because i am riding my bike in basketball shorts. if i switch to something like this:

the pocket will be gone. besides even with the basketball shorts i need to stop pedaling to reach the volume button, which is a hassle.
ideas ?
