Do these cans have a thing with sounding overly bright at times? I'm hoping this will get better with time mine have just been playing for about 30h now. It's really weird because I'm really enjoying the character of these cans but they do sound bit too bright on some tracks which I haven't experienced as having bright noises in them with other cans like cd3000. And other tracks that have sounded bright with other cans don't sound bright at all with the A900.

To people who have heard both... How are the W5000 compared to A900? brighter or less problem with brightness?

thx

well, i only heard a1000 and w5000. a1000 is good, and w5000 is amazing that i think it`s just second to k1000 among every phone I heard.

check at kakaku.com, you`ll find out a900 is not that noble as it seems.

I haven't had to opportunity to audition the W5000s as of yet but do own a set of A900s and CD3Ks. My experience is that the A900s is a foward sounding set of cans but not necessarily bright sounding. Some of the bright sounds at times out of the A900s can be attributed to the music. A lot of the music that I listen to out of my A900s doesn't sound bright at all. Then there are certain recordings that I listen to out of the A900s at times do sound a little bright but not overly bright. IMO the CD3Ks sounded a bit brighter with most of my music than the A900s.
