At work, I sometimes get a pretty decent static shock from my headphones. It seems to travel from the metal driver assembly straight to the good old external auditory meatus (ear)...
Anyone else get shocks from their phones?

Just as a point of reference, I get shocked using the Sony V600s supplied by my employer. Additionally I have been shocked by 4 different pairs of V600s.

Try dry climates. Winter time up here, the air is so dry that you shock yourself just walking 7 feet to open a doorknob. That said, I used to walk to school every day with my headphones, and the minute I started to take them off when I got inside, ZAP--massive static shock.
