Hi,
I'd like to ask for an explanation. I have heavily worn IEMs where the cable insulation has given way on many spots as has the shielding at both earpieces (but it is still connected at the jack connector). What is interesting for me is that I can't hear any change in sound. Am I right to say that it is enough for the shielding to be connected in the jack? What will happen when it gives way on both ends of the cable?
Thanks
