Final Audio Sonorous III

These hit just under the limit at $299.99. Sound terrible out of the box but with some simple mods, it can sound almost as good as my Focal Clears, better in some areas not as good in others. Really exceptional response to mods. Mods can be found in the last few pages of this thread.

Jude (owner of this website) had written a review of the Sony MDR-V6. He said these are what he started out with. Based on his review, I bought these. I have had more expensive headphones come and go. I keep getting drawn back to the Sony's. About $70.00 when you catch a sale.

I wanted an open back with the same sound signature of the Sony's. After many buying mistakes, I ended up with AKG K245's. About $60.00
