I read M6 have the same soundsignature thenM 8 but not so detailed. I can tell you M8 and Focal Celestee with Dekoni Pads for Stellia is verry nice. I think Focal Clear with M6 U is also very good.

I've had the M6U for about a week now and of all my headphones it pairs best with my Sennheiser HD650's. Drives them authority using the medium gain setting. Really bolsters the strengths of this headphone

Overall, the sound signature is definitely a bit saccharine and dreamy. Seems like Shanling leaned more into creating an engaging/moving listening experience than blowing you away with technicalities that seldom actually enhance said experience (and in many cases undermine it). I think they did a pretty darn good job here

Hi @Shanling, would you be able to tell the accurate audio latency in USB DAC mode for M6 Ultra and M7? Sadly some DAPs have huge delay which make them unusable in USB DAC mode, here is my test of a different DAP with large delay, the description to the video explains in details how the test and measurement are performed.

This is a slow motion video at 240 FPS to demonstrate the FiiO M11 Plus ESS 300ms audio latency in USB DAC mode. On the monitor you can see a video clip that plays a short sound at the mark "0". The cursor indicates the time interval from the position "0" (-500ms, -400ms, -300ms, -200ms, -100ms, 0ms, +100ms, +200ms, +300ms, +400ms, +500ms). During the first half of the recorded video the sound is reproduced using FiiO M11 Plus ESS in USB DAC mode. The sound is played at the mark "0", however we can hear it only when the cursor reaches 300ms mark (remember this is a slow motion video, real action is 8x faster). The second half of the recorded video demonstrates that the laptop internal speakers reproduce the sound at the mark "0" with no latency.

I'm familiar with the Twitch delay test, I use it when testing Bluetooth connections.

I didn't run it with 240fps video, but by simply testing it with M7. It seems to be between <50ms and 250ms, depending on how is your Audio buffer set in Shanling Control Panel
