I LOVE my M6 21 Pro, but android chews too much battery. @Shanling Please Please Please come out with something like M6 Ultra or M7 with MTouch. I was so desperate for a non Android device I bought Lotoo and sold it a week later... The M3X blew it away.

Demand for non-android devices in higher price ranges is very small. So not sure if we will ever make any again.

Engineering behind it is from the same team. But the overall design is from different people.

You can use our players in Prime mode, a sort of simplified system. We have no plans to be porting our MTouch into Qualcomm CPU platforms.

As ive said on other Shanling forums, I have conceeded that when buying a shanling dap, im buying outstanding hardware and need to supply my own sofrware (UAPP) and im ok with that. The problem with Prime mode is the shanling music app as the only option.

EQ system same as M0. M1s has some extra features above M0 (Like Airplay and DLNA), but the Android opens up doors to so much more.

Thanks. Well, what I meant was: If you activate Airplay on the M1s - does the device show up on an iPhone as Airplay device even there is no Wifi arround? Or only if there is Wifi arround? This could be tested easily?
There are devices that can do that and others can`t. An example for a device that can do Airplay without Wifi around is the Chord Mojo Poly.
(Using a Hotspot etc. is another procedure again...)
