Hi

Which is best of these 3:

Shaling PM300, the X-can v3 with pink floyd mod or the Little dot MK IV.

the Little dot is so big, and also a hybrid amp might be a bit 'faster'.

What you guys think, I guess many of you have heard both the V3 modded and the little dot mk iv.

The x-can v8 is just too laid back

thanks!

I got a new Shanling PH3000 yesterday and have been using it to amp my AKG K701's ALL day today. It's been on for about 12 hours and is starting to open up nicely. The 701's have a bit over 300 hours on them. I'll report more as the amp burns in and I get to understand it's signature a bit better. Until then, I'd say consider the Shanling although I've not heard the amp that's built into the CDP.

I'm not much of a techie, but that's the way I understand it. They call them hybrids. Tube buffer in the preamp section and solid state amplification. Feel free to correct me anybody, if I'm wrong. It sure wont be the first time!
