Hello everyone, I'm looking for a new audio player with the following things.

Great audio. It doesn't have to be as good as sflo but something decent

Battery life. Something that lasts atleast 8 hrs

Good ui. Sflo ui was bad, I want something a bit better

Well made. Need it to last a good couple years and not randomly crash like the sflo did

16+ gb memory


Here's somethings that would be great but not necessary

Flac playback. I would like to not have convert my library to mp3

Sd card slot

Line out



I'm currently loooking at the ipod 4 because it fits a lot of thes requirments except sd card and flac, but if you guys have better suggestions just tell me. I have a price range of <250 usd. Thanks for the help everyone.

If the Line Out was not needed, i would have said a Cowon J3 would do the Job.
u could even try the Sansa Fuze V2 if any are left....... Rockbox them and they are the way to go.....How good? There was a thread on the Rockbox forums where someone tried a 64GB SDHC in a SDHC to MicroSDHC convertor, and the Card was recognized and worked.....so that goes for storage, even for FLAC playback.
 
Other options, without an SD card slot can be an iPod Video 80GB. Rockbox it, diyMod it, Line out it, and enjoy the hell out of it.
