My music comes from my laptop. It has a VGA out, an hdmi out, USB out and regular 3.5mm out. I want to bypass my internal amp to send to my matrix m-stage. How do i do this? Also would it sound better to get an amp/dac like the o2+odac or to keep the m-stage and utilize my internal sound card. By the way the headphones i will be using are the Fostex TH-600. Could really use the help!

If your M-Stage has a USB input then hook it up to the USB. If it doesn't you can get a USB DAC like the ODAC or Schiit Modi.

My m-stage does not have the usb input. I will try to get my hands on an odac.
