[P01N7]

As title, I'm having some seriously annoying audio stutter through bluetooth with my P7 wireless headset. 
They work fine with my iphone via bluetooth, but connecting to my Macbook Pro (main audio source) results in some irritating stuttering every few seconds.
 
Bluetooth Spec's
 
- Macbook Pro: Bluetooth 2.1       -  Stutters
- Macbook Air : Bluetooth 4.0       -  Stutters
- iPhone SE    : Bluetooth 4.2       -  Works well
 
Now, I hadn't considered this issue to even occur until the stuttering started, and then I began considering that perhaps my MBP's bluetooth isn't up to scratch, thus that is what I would now imagine the problem is, yet the person I spoke to on the phone at B&W said that this shouldn't be a problem.
 
 
I bought these primarily for use with my MBP at home when I would like a bit of mobility freedom and when chilling in bed. The iPhone to headset bluetooth connection really doesn't bother me and a wired connection is perfectly fine for that kind of use, rendering the bluetooth functionality for me at the moment pretty pointless.
 
 
Any other ideas what the problem could be or better yet a cure?
