I was listening to some old CCR today and the separation was driving me batty.
I got thinking about it and I understand the chain of separation from studio to master to source to amp. What I don't understand is why certain headphones have differing degrees of separation. What are the mechanics involved from the L/R signals running up the headphone cord until the sound reaches my ears?
