Sensitive headphones and non-musical sounds

Um, highly doubtful. HD650's are among the least sensitive headphones out there. Eventually all headphones will wear out, but I doubt gaming or movie watching will be any worse than movies.

There is no distinction between sounds from music, video games, movies, etc. It won't make a difference.

I've read here that headphones break in differently according to the type and amount of different sounds they are exposed to.

Depending if you like breaking in your headphones or experiencing the change in sound yourself.
