I don't feel right using my sensitive Sennheiser HD650's for video games. It just seems like it might degrade some of their precision over time.

Um, highly doubtful. HD650's are among the least sensitive headphones out there. Eventually all headphones will wear out, but I doubt gaming or movie watching will be any worse than movies.

There is no distinction between sounds from music, video games, movies, etc. It won't make a difference.

Depending if you like breaking in your headphones or experiencing the change in sound yourself.

movies sound amazing through my hd650s. but yeah gaming on it I can definitely see its potential not being used
