just tried the sensaphonics seal test http://www.sensaphonics.com/test/index.html  with all my fullsize/portable phones but 500hz is much more clear/louder than the 50hz note (though I can actually feel a bit of bass) what results do you get with the test? the test is supposed to work with custom IEM's, but shouldn't it work for fullsized phones as well?

thanks

Sensaphonics does not make conventional headphones, and has never had reason to document the Audio Seal Test for such products. The test is designed specifically for IEMs (custom or universal), which must maintain a full seal to the ear canal in order to deliver full/intended bass response.

Conventional circumaural and supra-aural phones (and non-sealing buds like stock Apples) don't work that way. The test results are AFAIK meaningless for such products.
