Might I suggest that you call the toll-free number at Sensaphonic, and ask for their assistance. They have a network of trained and certified audiologist that they will match up with your specific location.
While many may think that any hearing aid company can do these, there are special requirements that Sensaphonics wants re: the earmolds (i.e. the specific material, how deep the impression (beyond the second bend in the canal), and that the impression that covers the entire outside of the ear. Most of the techs they will recommend are used to their standards. Also, the technican will get a better impression if they have an electric dispenser that forces the material into your ear, rather than a syringe (w/o the needle) with which the pressure can vary during the application.
Your impressions should be done with an open jaw configuration. The technican can provide the bite block to use for the process.
If you go to see the network audiologist, it should run you approximately $30 for both ears, slightly more in the larger cities. They you can take the impressions and mail them yourself to Sensaphonic Customer Service. If the audiologist does this for you, you are probably looking at double the cost.
And here's the toll-free number for Sensaphonic in Chicago.
