Ya, I agree... fun read, but a lot of our fellow head-fi'ers have done much better at describing the 2S-X sonic signature! A bunch of you 2S-X folks could be professional reviewers... you know who you are!

At least he sort of compares Sensas to his AKG k1000 and Marten Design "Duke" loudspeakers+Velodyne DD sub. I wonder if the reviewer has ever tried Ety's.. I've actually run into this reviewer a couple of times at local audiophile functions, and maybe I'll ask him next time I see him

From the review: "The fact that you have these monitors planted in your ears means that you can enjoy complete silence, even on an airplane. I have always despised listening to music or watching films on a plane, as the jet engine noise masks the sound. I felt it best to not listen to anything rather than subject myself to future hearing problems. I always wonder if my fellow passengers are aware of the danger of playing music too loud over headphones. Now, let me tell you, Stravinsky's Firebird never sounded so good on a 777!"

This is precisely the reason why I bought mine. The terrific sound is just a bonus (and great one at that). Can you imagine these tiny little things I slip in my pocket or briefcase are capable of near HD650/Zu Mobius sound unamped from a humble iPod?

I can, now. I was on a recent biz trip (Southwest open seating) and after taking my seat, at least six kids took up seats around me. Not a prob; I whipped out my spankin' new Sensas and popped a CD in my EJ2000. Great combo by the way.

The childrens' mother started to mention the noise and I pointed to my ears and made that can't-hear-anything gesture. Her return gesture seemed to indicate that she wished that she had a pair.

I also burned a few movies to my Palm Pilot and watched them with excellent stereo sound. Even as a 1.5 year E5 user, I've never had a more comfortable biz trip.

Incredible detail and these things are fast, fast, fast. I can safely say that I'd do it all over again.

Yeah, I have to say that these are the most impressive sound I've ever heard. From anything. Well, OK, those Infinity IRS Betas with the $30,000 Mark Levinson amp with all optical interconntects was better, but at $70,000 for the whole mess I'll take my $750 IEMs any day of the week...

I have just received mine back from a refit. I am now officially pleased with the results and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for full featured sound in a portable package.

Go Sensaphonics!
