Hey guys,

I'm new here
normal_smile .gif
and in general an novice when it comes to these things. Anyway, I was pointed in this direction for my query since I guess this would be the best place for any headphone-related discussion!

I wanted to upgrade my ipod earbuds that came with the mp3 player, and was mainly looking for good quality in-ears that cancel external sound and are reasonably priced.

I have been eyeing up the Sennheisser CX-200s since they seem within the price range that I can afford (up to £30). Does anybody have any experience with this model? I was concerned it may be too bassy? Main thing that I'm looking for is good noise-cancelling!

Many, many thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply Mark! I do not want too much bass, I listen to rock/experimental music generally, and I guess I could just change the EQ settings on the ipod if I wanted a bass boost.

I tried my friend's PX100 (or was it 200?) and found them to be too bass-heavy.
