The Order # I'm referring to is the last 7 digits of that 13 digit #, ie:
MD-30891-14503xx
:

Ahh, well that explains it.

Your first post said 245 not 145.

Mine is 14500xx, and mine is en route.  Got the tracking email already.  Got my tracking number via email yesterday morning at 9am EST.

OOPS. sorry. I sent that post from my phone and probably didn't double check the # correctly.

Here in California we get taxed by Massdrop and have the longest domestic shipping times. Feelsbadman.

I also get taxed in NJ and my shipping time is 7 days for the package to go less than 50 miles! Talk about demoralizing...

So I guess they're NOT actually prioritizing by orders placed in sequence.
I guess not mine should be here Tuesday.

I'm within 300 orders from yours and still haven't even gotten a notification.

Do we know for sure that the order numbers are sequential?

I mean if they are, that means my order actually went in before I thought it did.

I didn't get my confirmation email until the very end of the drop.   I sat there retrying the whole time and it kept timing out, and for a long time thought I wasn't going to get one at all.

But if we look at the order numbers and assume they are sequential:

MD-30891-14500xx

The MD is presumably for MassDrop.

The 30891 is just the number of the HD6xx drop.

Which leaves the last numeric grouping, where mine is 14500xx.   This suggests the order numbers started at 1450000, (otherwise they would have started in the middle of 144xxxx somewhere and that makes little sense, considering the order total was 5000) and that my order thus is among the first 100.    That is rather surprising to me, given how all this went down.

I'm 1452176 and it's on the way .

Ok there goes that theory.   The obviously didn't start at 1450000, as there were only 5000 in total, so it would never have gone up to 2176...

It was indicated by a MD rep. a few days ago (that I posted in this thread) that said they were prioritizing by order #'s...1st 500 go out 1st (with serial #'s stamped), then the next 500 or so in the first group of shipments then the second 1,000 or so in the next shipment...and so on.

I think the order sequence started w/ 144xxxx

Ah, yeah, I found this your post on page 112 that explains it:

These will go to the first 500 people who were able to successfully join the drop. You can figure this out by going to your Transactions page (https://www.massdrop.com/transactions) to see if your transaction number is below MD-30891-1447594.

Group 2: First 500 Attempted Purchasers, Serial numbers <1100
This one was a little tricky and required a bit of data pulling, but these will be allotted to members in the drop based on their attempted join time, regardless of the time they successfully joined the drop.

SWEET! Thanks Wood1030, I wanted to ask MassDrop where the cutoff was, thanks to you I know my HD6xx's are already in New Jersey (gross), should be shipping soon, AND have a serial number!!

The order number breakdown is odd.

Anyway, that definitely means I didn't get one of the first 500, despite refreshing the page already before the drop went live.

It would have been cool, but its not a big deal.  I got these to listen to them, not to put them under a glass case and point out the low serial number :p

Check your math 1452176 if it started at 1450000 then the last would be 1455000.
