Do we know for sure that the order numbers are sequential?
I mean if they are, that means my order actually went in before I thought it did.
I didn't get my confirmation email until the very end of the drop. I sat there retrying the whole time and it kept timing out, and for a long time thought I wasn't going to get one at all.
But if we look at the order numbers and assume they are sequential:
MD-30891-14500xx
The MD is presumably for MassDrop.
The 30891 is just the number of the HD6xx drop.
Which leaves the last numeric grouping, where mine is 14500xx. This suggests the order numbers started at 1450000, (otherwise they would have started in the middle of 144xxxx somewhere and that makes little sense, considering the order total was 5000) and that my order thus is among the first 100. That is rather surprising to me, given how all this went down.
It was indicated by a MD rep. a few days ago (that I posted in this thread) that said they were prioritizing by order #'s...1st 500 go out 1st (with serial #'s stamped), then the next 500 or so in the first group of shipments then the second 1,000 or so in the next shipment...and so on.

You can figure this out by going to your Transactions page (https://www.massdrop.com/transactions) to see if your transaction number is below MD-30891-1447594.
Group 2: First 500 Attempted Purchasers, Serial numbers <1100 This one was a little tricky and required a bit of data pulling, but these will be allotted to members in the drop based on their attempted join time, regardless of the time they successfully joined the drop.
SWEET! Thanks Wood1030, I wanted to ask MassDrop where the cutoff was, thanks to you I know my HD6xx's are already in New Jersey (gross), should be shipping soon, AND have a serial number!!
