Seems Sennheiser is open to sell a few of their business and only wants to focus Pro Audio, Neumann and Business Communication.

Now if you think that headphones like the Sennheiser HD 600, HD 650 and HD 800S fall under "Pro Audio", according to the website they do not. They are classified under "Audiophile".

So I guess we will not see an Orpheus 2 Mini for $5000.

Well, the implications are certainly magnified - ultimately, it could be a lot of worry for nothing. Still, you'd have to feel a tinge of concern for one of the oldest powerhouses in the headphone and IEM spheres.

Pro audio might just be the monitor headphones.
Audiophile headphone actually cost more somehow.
