Anyone got the new streetstyle Sennheiser PMX100s yet? If so whats the word on the sound? How are they structurally for strength and comfort? Do they fold up small like the PX100s? Is that enough questions for now?

Nope, I can buy 'em here too (in the Netherlands). Haven't bought them though, so can't answer the OP's question.

I've seen them around where I am (Canada) but havent been able to listen, so I'm curious as well. Did you do a forum search?

Those look nasty. They look so bulky, and the cable comming out of the middle of the one side. I can see the size being a problem.

From the pictures it looks as if they won't fold up into a smallish volume like the PX100s, which would be a nuisance for portability. I think the cord on only one side is a plus for usability.

But it seems noone has actually tried them yet. Is there some kind of general bias against this style of headphones (even if they are based on a good model like these obviously are)? What aural or ergonomic reasoning would cause me to think that a street style headphone is less desirable than an over the head model?

Probably because they're new, and we all have KSC-75 or IEM already. And I saw them at a Radioshack/Source

you know, I wouldn't mind having my Ksc-35 on a streetstyle band just in case one clip pops off, to prevent having one swing in the breeze.

oh nm it's called the sportapro.
