I've posted previously about the cracked headband on my 280's.

Final outcome: for the cost of one way shipping, Sennheiser replaced them
with a brand new pair

They do have pretty great service. I sent my HD590s in after my sis broke the headband, and they replaced the band and sent them back for free.

You can actually get some one on the phone most of the time as well. Where as sony and RCA is a constant machine. Sennheiser service is great and hard to beat.

considering the time invested in breaking in my headphones I would HATE it if they sent me a new HD-650 without just replacing the broken part.

I guess the HD-280 also takes a while to break in...

I needed a stock replacement cable for my HD 590 since my dog chewed through mine. It arrived in like 2 days. Then again, the cable is only worth like $12 retail and I live in NJ when Sennheiser USA is in CT. But hey, I was pleased

Yep, probably the best service by a company ive seen.

The cable on my HD600 started working intermittently on the left..emailed them, explained the situation, they asked for my address....2 days later i had the cable on my doorstep

Im lucky enough , the main Sennheiser service in Spain is in Madrid

i would like to say snufkin and beyers service is also very good, also replaced my cracking headband for free
