Quick question:
Are the wireless Sennheiser RS 220 headphones open or closed?

I'm asking because I've seen the mentioned as closed as many times as I've seen them mentioned as open.

And follow up questions;
As I'm looking for closed wireless headphone and these are indeed open, what other close wireless headphone would you recommend that I look into

Thanks in advance,

Hi MarsNielson.

I own this very model, they are open. They are a superb wireless headphone, the loop-through digital and analogue outputs mean that it is permanently connected to my system. Sound quality is amazing.

If closed wireless headphones is what you want look at the RS 170. I've used these and they also sound good, with great range and also as they are digital wireless they are less prone to interference than analogue wireless headphones like the RS 120.

Any further questions please get in touch.

In the 2013 Head-Fi Winter Gift Guide: http://www.head-fi.org/a/2013-head-fi-winter-gift-guide-wireless-headphones it's written that they are closed.

But I take your word for it :)
