Hello! I'm an user od t-100 and these are great ones... but I'm getting sick of the problems with one side playing more quietly. First pair had these issue right away. My current ones are out of warranty and recently developed same problem. I thought about buying mx985. I have no chance to check them so i would like you guys to compare them for me. Does anyone have experience with both? I don't care about isolation etc. All I'm curious about is sound quality.

well... maybe its time to give more information. i dont care about the build. im gonna use them with samsung p3 or touch 2 or 3 generation (dont remember). since ive got 2 different players i guess i will work something out. the question is can mx985 compete with yamahas in sound quality. i listen to alot of genres but mostly hard rock.
