I don't know of any headphone in that price range that's good for all types of music.

You know, I've been everywhere for the MX450s or 550s and I can't find any for sale! At least here in the US. Can you point me (and perhaps anyone else who is looking) in the direction where I might obtain such a fanciful set of earbuds?!

The only place I've seen the MX550 is at Circuit City. I haven't seen the 450 in a b&m store, but eCost has a good price:

Not considering the Sony MDR-E888LP? I got mine for about $48 off of ebay last week (shipping included)... the best sub-$50 ear buds that I've owned. I found them noticeably better than the MX 500... clearer sounds, better bass.

If you're looking for a place to buy the MX500, I bought my MX500 directly from Sennheiser USA online store a while back. I paid $15 + shipping which totaled less than $20.

i found the mx450's at amazon and will be buying them with another pair of px100's for my bro. how do the 450's compare to the px100's if the px100's are a 10 (on a scale of 1-10, 10 being best) then where are the mx450's?
