Would the Sennheiser Lucas surround sound amp be beneficial and worth it for ATH M50? Thinking about grabbing used one for $50.. I like more surround sound stage for everything, and this should be stellar for movies...

these old school amps still good right? Or is 10+ years old showing itself and making this technology useless... thoughts?
Whose used these, and what's the deal with them.

I don't believe you can engineer soundstage into closed phones with a surround widget. "5.1" headsets even suck at it.

I've got one. I prefer using Dolby Headphone on stereo headphones. The only time I use the LUCAS / DSP Pro is with the Surrounder.
