I got a pair of IE800's recently and am really enjoying them.

I had hoped that they could replace my X10's as comfy lightweight on the go headphones and, while they win hands down on SQ, they are trailing on comfort (but then I don't know of anything that gets near the X10's in this respect).

I have switched to using Comply T500 tips and these are a help. Similar to others' experiences, I struggled to get a fit with the stock tips - comfort was fine, they just wouldn't stay put. The T500's are working well so far with good isolation and no obvious loss of quality from the Senn tips.

Does it fit the nozzle ?

Yes, they fit the nozzle very well.
The only issue is that they don't have the clipping mechanism of the Sennheiser tips and so can remain in your ear when you take the 800s out.
Just wore them using the T500's through London rush hour with no fit or falling out issues and a lovely cocoon of sound.

So , it doesn't fit "exactly" to the nozzle

They fit as well as any non-Sennheiser tip feasibly could.

I also use comply TSX-500 with my IE800. It never happened to me that any of the comply tip remains in my ear when removing the phones. You could use comply 400 series which I believe tiny bit smaller than the 500 series.

we have ie800 for 550 USD here in Ukraine. For that price i'll purchase them, if it was higher i wouldn't even consider because cable is not fully interchangeable.

I just got the senn ie800 recently and am very happy with them. This is the first iems that left me stunned with the amount of clarity and detail I hear in my music.

  very nice. I'm a little concerned with the bass ports getting dust into them. Is that going to be a problem with everyday outside use ?

I have tried the 400 series Complys - they are actually bigger than the 500s and not suitable for the IE800's.
 
Looking through my other tips I did find that Heir silicon tips with the blue inner ring are actually a good fit.

for some reason price for IE800 went up in Ukraine... i hope it's not because i've had written about it here ....
 
Now i won't purchase this model!  Ohh well, IE80 not bad at all.

Must have confused with my other earphones using 400 series. Alternate comply tips for IE800 would be the 200 series. I use TX-200 with wax guard. These tips are tiny bit tighter than the 500 series.

How do the comply tips affect the sq of the ie800?

My main concern when using the comply tips was lows might be elevated and the whole sound might be muffled. The complys in my opinion do not change the sound signature of IE800 that much, furthermore the TX/ TSX series which i use, has wax guard filter, which might reduce treble harshness. Most important is, they are way more comfortable than standard tips.

I would agree - there was no discernable difference in sound quality or signature in moving from the Sennheiser oval tips to Comply 500's.
Comfort was similar for me, but, critically, they stay in my ears now.
200's are in the post - will see how these compare with 500's.
