As far as I know there were 300 units of HE90 and HEV90 at first, but then there was a small run of 50 units of HE90 in 2005. So, did Sennheiser also produce 50 units of HEV90 for the 2005 run? OR there are oly 300 units of HEV90 in the world right now?

Also I have heard from several sources that all the ECL86 tubes are in shortage after many other amps came to market and Sennheiser instructing their dealers on how they can change the HEV90 amp to use the more abundant PCL86. Based on a bit of reading over Head-Fi it seems that in 2006 and 2007 there were many Head-Fiers selling their HEV90 because Aristaeus and Woo amps were doing better job than HEV90.

Please correct me if I am wrong in my assumption

How many HEV90 do you believe are still up and running?

PS: I am running HE90 with Aristaeus right now, but I would really like to try out HEV90. I am located in NYC. I am also looking for HEV90 if anyone has one that they would like to sell.
