Usual practice is to put in a 4.7 megohm resistor in the bias lead.

As, from memory, the Senn has two bias leads and the Stax only one, the 2 Senn leads can be joined together and the resistor placed in series with the leads and the Stax plug.

If the bias is not sennheiser cable addition 4.7 megohm resistor will affect the Timbre? Or will shorten the life of the headphone?
I'm using them. Is no add 4.7 megohm resistor HE60.
