I had my doubts that this compact DAC/Amplifier could drive the HD800, but I had a chance to pair them both at the Village Meet Up in L.A. and discover that this little amp, that fits the iPhone 4 & 4S perfectly, had just enough juice to power the HD800 to loud enough levels.   On most listening material, the volume knob has to be about 90%, but in some cases it has to be at 100%.
I haven't found a track in which I would like to go louder and the amp couldn't do it.   It just fits the bill.
