[HD_Dude]

Hi again,
 
I use Senn HD650's daily in a professional recording studio. Love 'em.
 
But a few months back I started hearing big problems - sound cutting out of one earpiece, and the other....distorted sound, etc. Not all the time, but enough that I had to look into repairs.
 
I thought it was the cable - I had been using the stock cable. So I replaced it with a Signal cable, and the problem went away for a month or so....but now it's back.
 
I think the issue is the cable connectors. If I unplug and re-seat the cable connection, the problem sometimes goes away for a bit....but then comes back.
 
So, two questions. First, does Sennheiser do repairs? Second, us this a common problem?
