I'm interested in the HD595 as my first real headphone but does anyone know how it compares to the Shure SE530?

Despite some obvious soundstage advantage of the HD595, I think the SE530 is the better one overall most of the time. It is blacker between the note, more detailed especially on the bottom end, and doesn't as murky. It is possible to bring HD595 to SE530 level with synergistic amp.

i have the 595's and personally, i just dont feel that it doesnt come so alive to me. i dont really feel that im like in the music. they sound good tho, excellent soundstage, but the bass i wish would be better. thats why around the holiday seasons, imma get a pair of IEMS.
