Hi everyone, I just decided to start the whole audiophile experience.
I have decided to get a pair of HD558's and mod it to a '598' so to speak (It is generally agreed that modding it makes it better right?). This is for multi purpose such as gaming on ps3 and xbox 360 as well as occasionally watching a movie and maybe listening to music on my pc. I have searched around and these headphones appear to best fit my budget.
I manage to find a pair for around £100 so around $160. Is this a good deal?
I have a question though, do Sennheiser headphones such as the HD558 drop in price over time? This is because I'm not in a rush so to speak for them NOW but if waiting a further few months mean that they will drop further in price then I could afford to wait. Or alternatively if these goods stay on a pretty permanent price range then there is no point waiting then.
Does anyone know the trend of price drops for Sennheiser's?
