I have hd555 for about a year until now.
IMO, its a nice all-rounder.

try do a search in the forum, there are several reviews on them.

I'm reviewing a pair right now... i'd have to say that they are very good. But at this price point i'd rather perfer an HD580; which tends to be a better performer as far as soundstage goes.

There very nice and have a very nice tone to them. Folks say there good for the price. I say there good at any price, good is good! the 580 will run another $70. These guys ship fast and the 555's will run a total of $112.

I'd put the 555's in the top 10 headphones out of hundreds.
