I recently refurbed a lovely pair of HD535's in great condition recently but sadly they have a driver volume imbalance.
The owner advised he had never used them and they had sat in the box for about 20 years so I was optimistaically hoping that maybe a burn-in period may be all that's required.
Well, after about 30 hours of playing bassdrive.com through them it's still apparent that there is an imbalance.
Does anyone happen to have an HD535 driver(s) hanging around they would be willing to donate or sell for this little project?
My HD 5** family is bougeoining nicely now and I'm also on the lookout for a pair of HD285 (?) which I think is a closed back version of the old 90's HD5** chassis.
