I spend the last years using a Sennheiser HD518 for music/gaming. Got it a long time ago for the bass emphasis, love it, but I think mine got beyond repairs/pad replacements =(
Have tried some gaming headphones (Cloud Alpha/SoundBlasterX H6) but so far nothing like the HD518 in bass emphasis, extension, rumble, stereo imaging, etc.
When the HD518 came out there´s something like 3 models, 518 (bass), 558 (highs) 598 (neutral) (?)
Today in my country I can get the HD 559/569/560s/599, but don´t know if this line have something like the old one with emphasis on bass/high/neutral.
Any recommendations for a proper HD518 replacement that will give me at least the same "bass feelings?
Was looking for a SHP9600, but read a post from someone who got the HD518/SHP9600 and he says the SHP9600 don´t have the same amount of bass/extension.
