I'm not quite sure if this belongs in the DIY section or here but here it is:
Ever since buying a pair of Sennheiser HD202s in search of better audio I've had some problems with them. First the ear pads never felt comfortable to me, and the cans were very bass heavy. Luckily I was listening to them while wearing my beanie one day and noticed both problems were gone. I decided to make the "mod" more permanent and I think it turned out pretty well.

They look pretty terrible but they sound better now.
