brothers which should I get.? mainly for country music I take what you guys say for a lot, should I think about buying grado sr125e Aswell?

DT990=lots of treble,recessed mids,good bass
HD650= gentle treble,fantastic mids,good mid bass,rolled off sub bass

For country I'd take the HD650 any day over the DT990

My preference would be for the HD650, which also and just btw, does really well with a nice tube amp IMO. It scales extremely well as electronics are upgraded. I have owned it for years and still have it for that reason. It doesn't get old for me.

The problem with Grados(for me) is the fact that they sit right on your ear,as opposed to over the ear like the other two you mentioned. They get quite uncomfortable after a short time,so I dont recommend Grados anymore. Some will say that swapping the pads to the bowls will help with the comfort,and while this is true to an extent,it changes the sound too much.

If youre after the Grado sound w/o the comfort issues,check out the K240 Sextett by AKG. Discontinued and you need a mega amp to drive them. They do what Grados do good better than Grados,without the peakiness and comfort issues.

The DT880 has the same bright treble of the DT990,without the bass of the 990. Its a sterile,soulless analytical sounding headphone better suited for monitoring than listening...pretty much the opposite of the HD650.
