Hello, Im planning to buy the Sennheiser HD 599 headphones. Currently i have the HRT microstreamer, Do i need to buy a better amp?

I don't think you would need to use an amplifier with this headphone, plugs straight into 'phone/media player.

They do benefit from amping. Even on my PC motherboard they sound more fuller and bigger than on smartphone.

Wait for them to drop at 99$, which they definetly will on black friday. I got them on prime day for 90$, deal of a lifetime

Woww for only $90!!!!! u are very lucky buddy!!!! here in india lowest price they reached was ₹8490/- (=$120) n that also only for 2 days, now price is back to ₹15999/- (=$240) n during lightening deal now they decrease price to ₹10000(=$150) at the most... i dont guess they will go down below that..
