I am considering a re-cable for my 598, mainly b/c I've read that a better cable would improve the bass and clarity. The most common cable that I've read about has been the Mogami W2534.

- What other cables would provide similar (or better) results?
- Cost of a re-cable? (W2534)
- Is the difference in quality worth the cost?

I've never heard a quality difference from a re-cable. Read up on both sides of this debate, make an informed decision.

Moon Audio makes very good cables for different headphones

Yes, they do. If I were going to buy such cables it would be from them. They're of very nice quality and made from sturdy materials. Plus, Drew is a really nice guy. I buy other things from him and always been happy with their service. It's A+.

+1.
Cables should be your last priority, after headphones, amp and dac.
