Hi All,

I am a new member and would like to purchase a new headphone. My main listening setup consists of a pc with asus xonar essence st with sennheiser hd 555. I prefer open-back headphone for comfort in longer use. I use autoeq presets for equalizer apo. My main listening lists consists of classical, jazz and rock music with occasional metal and vocals.

I have been reading some posts in this forum and checking comparisons from https://www.rtings.com/headphones/tools/table.

I am more inclined to K702 due to better imaging and soundstage, however if rtings.com comparison is to be believed hd560s is more neutral, more accurate in the bass and treble and better with peaks/dips

Which of these headphones would be more suitable for me. I am also open to other suggestions that do not exceed $250

Thanks

I don't know much about the HD560, but the AKG K702 will absolutely need a good amp. Further the K702 isnt that great for rock and metal. It is, however, excellent for classical.
