I have a pair of hd 558s and i love them, but cant bring them to work because of noise leaks bothering my coworkers. Can I replace the earpads with ones that contain more noise? Is that even a thing?

Looking into a pair of closed backs is a better option I think. The 558's are open backed cans, don't think ear pads are gonna solve the problem.

You'll need new headphones.  New pads won't help since they are open back cans.  I wear the HD558 at work, but no one complains about the sound leaking and it's a quiet office.

Ah, thanks for the clarification.  At medium volume I presume?
