[Clincher09]

I found these headphones at work and I'm very interested in them. I currently have a pair of Denon D2000s but I don't have a good enough amp to get the best sound out of them. I can get these 558s for $100 with my work discount. How do they compare to the D2000s?

My best guesses.
 
I would assume the Denon D2000 are a fair bit better then the HD558s, in over all audio quality.
The HD558s might have better sound stage.
The D2000 would have more bass.
