I bought this one years ago and very satisfied with it. However it's just broke beyond repair and now I could not find this one in every local shops here anymore due to outdated model.

Could you please suggest the best replacement for it?

Thank you

Budget?
What device or DAC/amp will you be plugging the new headphones into?
Does it matter if it's open or closed?
Is there any change of sound you would like?
(more bass, better vocals, more lively, etc)

- Budget $300 - $400

- Use it with PC sound card (Asus Essence STX with headphone amp)

- I'm not sure Sennheiser HD 558 is open or close but I would prefer that similar one.

- No. I do love sound and stage provided by Sennheiser. However if you have any recommendation of another brand / model then it would be welcome too.

I used an Essence STX card for years (with AD797BR op-amps) and liked it.
Replaced it with a $400 external DAC/amp (Audio-GD)
The HD558 is an open headphone, unless you have a good reason for getting a closed headphone, suggest you get another open headphone.
For a more lively sound (stronger bass/treble), check out the Soundmagic HP200 headphones.

Massdrop/Sennheiser HD58X are great too.
