Hi I have a pair of Sennheiser hd414X open headphones. I used them extensively in the 70s and 80s. For the past 20 years they have not been used and have been sitting in their original box in my closet. I recently tried to use them and found they no longer work. The jack and cable appear fine (continuity tester indicates wires are good from one end to the other with no shorts or breaks). Any idea why neither earphone works? They worked perfectly when I put them in the closet 20 years ago
