well, long time no see guys. how've you been?
my teacher was giving away a pair of headphones so i took them. they happen to be sennheiser hd 409s and i can't find any info on them. they are a little beat up (worn) and are missing the pads, but they sound realy nice any info on where to get the pads?

i mis-read, the actual models are hd490s. i'll do some digging, again lol
 
so with some further digging: 
i've got the "80s model..." and people don't seem to like the standard 490. i don't see why... these guys are wonderful. if only i had some pads lol. apperently something about not being loud enough or something? these guys are rather loud
 
so any more thoughts?
