I just archived the interface and the headphones since they have no return.
First time having to use an interface on my computer. I guess I'll ever give them a try again when doing videoconferences or whatever.

First time having to use an interface on my computer. I guess I'll ever give them a try again when doing videoconferences or whatever.
Your interface has two benefits vs normal computer audio:
1. It has ASIO drivers which means you can record and playback/monitor at the same time with low latency, this usually works much worse with built in PC audio.
2. It has a high quality microphone preamp which is a benefit when recording from a dedicated microphone.
If you do not use those functions you do not really need an audio interface.
